EXCL: Chelsea contact Jhon Duran's agents again, Vlahovic is the profile we need, We have MUCH more pressing needs than Garnacho, Trev Chalobah couldn't play Maresca-ball apparently, More....
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 22nd January 2025!
Morning all,
Not long left now in the January transfer window and Chelsea still lack a spine in this team. I’m losing hope that we will see that addressed this window, or even at all now to be honest. But they have once again been working on another new striker who they looked at not so long ago to add to the list of strikers they have made contact for this month. At least they are trying to sign a new striker I guess.
Find out all about the new contacts for Jhon Duran this week in our exclusive transfer news article from yesterday in here.
Dusan Vlahovic has the kind of profile we should be looking at. But perhaps there are warranted concerns over his injuries. But a loan to buy move would be smart this month. Will Chelsea do that? Apparently not as he’s not on the list. But his profile SHOULD be on our list. Much more on that in here.
Can’t believe I am continuing to be forced into talking about Alejandro Garnacho to Chelsea, but it’s apparently what our energy is being put into right now (per Fab Romano), trying to sign a new winger when we have so many other holes in the spine of our team. Chelsea fans are angry with the Garnacho links and rightly so. Get my thoughts, poll results, and much more on this situation and how we are ignoring what actually should be our priorities in here.
Yes, I am certainly voicing some strong views in this newsletter, because a lot that has happened lately has annoyed me. None more so than the Trevoh Chalobah situation. Trev was apparently not suited to Enzo Maresca’s football, then just six months later he comes back in and gives a MOTM performance to lead us to victory over Wolves. Imagine that? Words (some sarcastic) on that in here.
And of course, grab all your latest general Chelsea transfer news from across the last 24 hours in the same place in here. This covers ALL the stories you need to know about.
I’ll start up the next live blog from around 8.30am today, but I really wont be on it much at all I am afraid. I’ll have to update as and when I can. I have my boy but also, it looks like my chief helper (my Dad is ill) is out of action, so I’ll be even busier! I’ll do the best I can.
