EXCL: Chelsea add new striker name to summer shortlist and still hold Vlahovic interest

Summer plans are ramping up

Chelsea are accelerating their plans for the summer transfer market as the season end nears.

Fabrizio Romano reported earlier this week that he expects Chelsea to be busy in terms of outgoings and incomings, and as we know, a striker remains top priority for the club for the next transfer window.

You will be seeing and hearing many and a variety of names, and this is because Chelsea want to get this spot on and this is the reason they have yet to sign a new striker - they felt they hadn’t yet found the appropriate one to go for.

First of all, I was told by a top source this week that there are still people amongst the Chelsea hierarchy who rate and are keen on signing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic. Others on the board don’t quite share those views, but there is also a collective concern about his injury history. However, Vlahovic is still very much on Chelsea’s radar ahead of the summer and could be a bit of a wildcard move to watch.
