As we come out of the international break we’re going to see all kinds of movement at Chelsea.

Christopher Nkunku will be announced this week. His arrival from Leipzig has been official for months and is a good example of Chelsea’s forward planning. Nkunku had a sensational season with Leipzig finishing as the Bundesliga’s joint-top scorer with 16 goals.

And we will also likely see a deal for Villarreal’s Nicolas Jackson completed. Chelsea have already agreed personal terms with the forward, who scored nine goals in his last eight LaLiga games. At the time I am writing this, the final structure of a £30m (€35m) deal was being finalised.

Chelsea will also continue their pursuit of Moises Caicedo. The Ecuadorian midfielder is keen on the move even without European football. And Brighton accept Caicedo will leave. This was acknowledged when he signed a new deal shortly after the January window shut.
