EXCL: Arsenal pushing for Eze, Chelsea still there
Eberechi Eze could become a saga for interested clubs
Crystal Palace might well be facing the nightmare of losing both Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze this summer window as interest intensifies in the latter.
Olise is set to join Bayern Munich after Chelsea fumbled around on it and didn’t push it through with the overall financials being too much. Eze is also gaining big interest now as well, mainly from Arsenal.
Palace do not want to lose Eze as well, but he is another player who has a release clause, believed to be similar to Olise’s at £60m. Remember, Olise’s release clause was always more for English clubs. Palace will try and tie him down to a new deal, so it will depend on the player.
SPTC sources have confirmed that Arsenal are ‘seriously interested’ in signing Eze, and they are looking to move out players like Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson on to make room and get Eze in.
