The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 11th December 2023!
Morning all,
Waking up in depression once again thanks to Chelsea, the players, the owners, the manager, the directors, and everyone in between.
Chelsea had another abysmal attempt at a game of football yesterday losing 2-0 to Everton. I am running out of words and have no idea where we go from here. I genuinely no longer recognise my club and have many thoughts and strong views I’ll be bringing this week.
You can get my thoughts on the game and full reactions in my match debrief article here.
To gather Mauricio Pochettino’s reactions, fan reactions, pundit reactions, and all the rest of the news from across Sunday before and after the game, check in on Sunday’s News Report here.
Before the Everton game we had a few articles already penned, so do bare that in mind before reading.
The first one was a contribution article from regular writer for our site, The Score. He has taken a measured long hard look at the current issues we have had so far this season and provided what he believes are potential solutions in here.
There was some more embargoed quotes out late on Saturday night from Pochettino’s Friday press conference, and these comments were very different from his initial comments in the aftermath of the Manchester United defeat. He’s actually pinned some blame on the players now for that one, which for me was deserved. Full story and quotes in here.
The last one today would have already dropped in your emails yesterday. But if you managed to miss that, an exclusive here from our sources on an alternative striker to Ivan Toney or Victor Osimhen who has been added to the Chelsea transfer shortlist.
I’ll be on the live blog from around 8am this morning, see you all there if you fancy joining. I don’t fancy being there, at all, but such is life….. EFFF Chelsea!
Peace, Si.
