Good Evening Ladies and Gents,
First of all I need to apologise, there has been a mix up between The Score and I and we will be one article short today, but don’t fear there will be an extra one to make up for it tomorrow.
Next up, tomorrow will play host to our usual weekly podcast on a Thursday, hosted by the top guy Jai as always, in Si’s absence The Score and I will be appearing alongside Jai.
So tomorrow brings the return of Si, he will fill you in with some more of that information when he returns, BUT what he has done is sent me a little teaser for an article that will be released tomorrow. “A big sourced transfer update on Strikers, Left Backs and Centre Backs.” He also has “a new name for Left Back and Centre Back”.
From Andy Naylor of The Athletic;
“Todd (Boehly) was one of the first people at Wembley to come and say hello. We joked about the fact that Tony Bloom and I were both wearing red ties. He’s a nice guy, he is a very successful businessman. Yes, we’ve probably had a few too many dealings with each other than I would have liked, that he would have liked probably, but that’s business.”
Verdict; Todd’s a good guy, I genuinely believe that, he had a rude awakening into European sport and football in general and has since stepped back and let the so called professionals get on with it.
From BILD;
“Thomas Tuchel is dreaming of a return to Stamford Bridge. He is not closed to the idea of working again with Todd Boehly, who has obviously understood that Chelsea was doing better with Tuchel on his bench.”
Verdict; Cannot see it happening, I would guess that there is more chance of a Mourinho three-peat than a Tuchel reunion. His Talent ID is woeful, and it would only work if he lost some pride and allowed the board to do their jobs without falling out with them and we would need to hire a top class DOF.
Cole Palmer has been interviewed on the Chelsea website;
The England international has shone at Stamford Bridge since swapping Manchester for London in the summer, netting 12 goals and adding 10 assists across all competitions for the Blues so far this season.
He’s established himself as a key player in Pochettino’s side and Palmer was quick to credit the work of our head coach, as well as expressing his delight with the decision to join Chelsea.
‘I’ve definitely improved as a player coming here,’ the summer signing from Manchester City said of his time at Chelsea.
‘I just felt [in the summer] like I was ready to play football week in, week out and that’s what I’m doing here at Chelsea.
‘The manager has definitely helped me, he’s a top manager and a top person. He speaks to you about anything, like family issues. I think if he knows what's going on off the pitch, it can affect how he is with you on the pitch. He's really great at that.
‘He's given me the freedom to play my stuff and I like it when he frees you because I feel I can express myself on the pitch more.
‘I'm loving it. Every day he's talking to you about different things, not just football things but just life generally as well. He's great at making you feel good and he’s always trying to get the best out of you.’
Veridct: I love the guy, he is a class act on and off the pitch, City missed a trick by selling him, their loss our gain that simple!
That is all for today.

Thanks for doing these Luke. Couldn’t agree more with your Tuchel verdict.
