We got him in the end guys, Chelsea’s first ever black player and cult hero Paul Canoville joined us for our greatest ever interview so far on this Podcast.
I must warn you there are some emotional moments in this, and Paul was very open and honest with us. He was absolutely fantastic.
We spoke about everything, from the beginning when he started playing, to getting his big shot with Chelsea, then experiencing racism from his own fans for three years before they transitioned into adoring him, to what he has been doing with all his community work locally since playing, and of course his recent massive health scare where Paul was ready to end it all.
