The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Tuesday 15th July 2025!
Morning all,
I’m sure like me, you are all still buzzing from Sunday night and enjoying that feeling that we have not had for too long as Blues fans! It’s great to have that back. I’m excited ahead of the new season, but I will be staying a bit grounded for now at least.
I explain why in my CWC final match review and general thoughts on our current situation in here. Chelsea were perfect on Sunday from start to finish.
You can round up more reactions from our big win as well as all your latest general Chelsea news, transfer rumours, and much more from across the last 24 hours in the same place here.
Enzo Maresca got his tactics spot on in the final. He made little tweaks and changes and set us up so well organised and we made it all look so easy in the end. Maresca deserves props for that but also, I am seeing a change in him - he is becoming more pragmatic and has even admitted that he is still learning and adapting. I think his flexibility tactically that we have seen in this competition has been so refreshing and positive. Words on that here.
It’s been a time for some honesty this week, and Enzo Fernandez has been the latest to put out his honest assessment of his time at Chelsea so far after helping them win the Club World Cup. His words here are brave and I respect him a lot for that.
Another player who deserves props is Trevoh Chalobah. Forced to train with the U21s and forced out of the club, only to be bought back in from the cold to become one of our best defenders. All without not hearing a peep of discontent from him. Full story here.
See you on the next live blog from around 8.30am today!
Peace, Si.
