The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Friday 11th October 2024!
Morning all,
Welcome to the weekend once again, happy Friday!
No Chelsea this weekend of course, but there was and will be more Chelsea players in action. I watched England last night, and I have done a bit of a report on the game to kick things off today.
Lee Carsley’s tactical gamble (or playing Football Manager as I saw it) failed and England lost at home to Greece!
This is more of a scouting report on the three Chelsea lads in the squad - Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer, and Levi Colwill. But I’ve also done a bit of general reporting and mentioned other players in here as well. Christopher Nkunku scored for France last night too, and you can see his goal in this article.
We also had the latest Podcast out yesterday. Myself and Jai spoke all things Chelsea and covered all the latest news and debates in here. Another way to get your Chelsea fix during a boring international break!
Grab all of your general Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place here, covering transfer news, quotes, interviews, and everything else!
Luke has his latest highly anticipated Loan Army Report out too and I know that many of you, like me, are always eager to check this one out. You can find that here.
Couple comment articles from me now to see us into the weekend.
One is one the continued debate around Enzo Fernandez’s overall form as a Chelsea player so far and how he’s not quite elevating to a good standard. There are some stats, facts, and opinions that backs that up a bit in here. I’ve always rated Enzo, but he hasn’t quite had the effect I was hoping for yet.
The last one is another stats-based article and it’s also a very positive one. I’ve looked at some of the recent positive stats going around about Chelsea and some individual players in our team right now in here. The positive train steams on, long may it last.
Have a good weekend all. I’ll be on the Substack App chat section IF there is any big news to speak on. Otherwise, I’ll see you all back on this site on Sunday!
Peace, Si.
As an American, looking forward to Poch’s first game in charge. It’s got to be better than Berhalter! Although also a hockey nut and NHL has started!
