A short one today/tonight as I am soaking up the atmosphere of England reaching another major final!
Our man was bang in the thick of the action, supplying a match winning assist in the 91st minute to take our country to back to back European Championship finals.
That confirms that Chelsea WILL have a European Championship winner with either Marc Cucurella or Connor Gallagher and Cole Palmer lifting the trophy on Sunday night.
Brilliant scenes for English, Spanish and Chelsea fans. As a patriotic man who loves nothing more than watching his country in international tournaments it brings me great pride to know that one of our players will become European Champion, and with Enzo Fernandez we have a South American champion as well.
Enzo’s Argentina side are in the Copa America final on Sunday night (early hours Monday UK time) and they will face either Uruguay or Colombia.
It’s great to see our players in the spotlight on the international stage ahead of a big season.
