Rewatching the Club America highlights again.. (penalty situation)
I don’t know what it is, I just have a strong dislike to Madueke.. wants to grabs every single penalty and so arrogant with it.. didn’t see him match that energy against city when it was 4-3 in added time..
The self awareness he lacks is incredible, the stupid instagram post last night. He plays for himself, not the team in my opinion, also doesn’t help he thinks he’s Ronaldinho too. His career highlight is playing in Holland for 3 years. Needs to be humbled.
@dannywindsor I love your optimism and the vision you have, if only life was as simple as the spreadsheets and solutions you have suggested. I accept what you say about the interest of Osimann to join Chelsea and the Premier League. Shame that we have to deal with the owner of his club! Unfortunately, life is not as simple as selling the bunch of players you listed, getting the prices you have proposed and swapping them for the two players as proposed. I’m all for it. I just don’t believe it will happen irrespective of what our ownership and sporting directors might want. Keeping my fingers crossed, however.
It seems that Nico Williams is very close to signing for Barcelona, and I wouldn't let Guiu leave he looks ready for the PL also we might not even need Oshimen having Jackson, Nkunku, Palmer and Guiu playing so well
Thanks bud! thats an interesting debate i would argue in this system top wingers is more important that ST. I would rather go into next year with Jackson Williams and Palmer than Osimhen Mudryk Palmer
Thanks but I can’t see either of them coming and it’s been said we a not the same club even if we could afford them. We don’t have champions league and this project could take 4 seasons to work and for a lot of players it’s too long. Looking at the squad now it’s not top 4 and would take other teams to underperform for us to finish in the champions league spots.
I trust you in saying that but at the moment the ownership looks like Mike Ashley in disguise. If we do manage to get Osimhen I will have to think again. They need to a lot for me to gain any trust in them.
Nick, that’s such a poor comparison. Mike Ashley wouldn’t have spent what these owners spent in buying the club let alone invested in it irrespective of what we all feel positively or negatively on the acquisitions to date.
From my understanding they signed a contract stipulating they would have to spend a certain amount on the playing staff and to redevelop Stamford Bridge. It was their decision to spend it all at once and very often not very wisely. The club needed to evolve into something more sustainable but they have done it all too quickly. It’s not just about acquisitions it their whole attitude particularly the lack of communication and they come across as arrogant and self serving I’m sad to say.
I promise you Osimhen wants to come to Chelsea more than any other club. Williams I know he had interest in coming to us before but preferred to go to Barca.
Hard to believe it's just easy for both of them to come. It's not only numbers unfortunately. We're not Chelsea of Mourinho or the era of that title wining team now. Not all players would come for granted any more even if we have the funds.

I'm surprised you believe Gusto will get the nod as the inverting LB over Cucurella considering that was where Cucurella excelled

Agreed Danny.
We must get Oshimen for the proposals that have been mentioned.
Loan with obligation
Lukaku plus £58 mil
Lukaku & Casedei plus cash.
We've got to bite the bullet and pay the wages he wants.
Pay the agents fees
Give him his image rights.
We MUST get him signed.
He takes us onto another level.
As for Williams?
More difficult to do.
He is already on £200k at Bilbao.
The tax is more favourable in Spain to keep their players at home.
Plus Barcelona are his number 1 choice.
Are we going to pay him £250k per week?
And not Cole Palmer.
My choice would be Raphina
Getable, Prem ready and could play on the right. Just what we need.
Excellent use of spreadsheets, Danny 👍 I share your optimism, though one of the two is more likely, not sure we need Williams as desperately…

Oh i get you, i really do. My concern is on the ownership and SD's getting the deals over the line i am just saying the players would come.
