Welcome to a Club World Cup Matchday!
You don’t get to say that very often, and it’s been 10 years since we tried to win this competition before.
Chelsea get another chance tonight, and those in the UK can catch it on Channel 4 at 4.30pm (UK).
I’m really excited to watch this one, and let’s hope we can secure a place in the final and win the only trophy we have never won.
Chelsea assistant coach Zsolt Low and captain Cesar Azpilicueta took the press conference for the game yesterday in Thomas Tuchel’s absence, and you can recap on the key points made here, as well as the rest of the latest Chelsea news from our Live Blog from Tuesday.
Next up we have a loan report on the rising star, Levi Colwill. He may well have a shot at making the Chelsea senior squad in the summer, so it’s a good time to check out how he is doing here.
Chelsea have been linked with Barcelona centre back Ronald Araujo on a few occasions in recent weeks, so it is probably one we should take a look at here as it grows some legs.
What is going on with Romelu Lukaku? That is the question I’ve answered for my next piece here.
Finally, I wanted to share my views on the disgusting news that I woke up to on Tuesday morning here regarding Kurt Zouma physically abusing his own cat. Hit a cord with me this one.
Tomorrow we will be welcoming Football London’s Chelsea Correspondent, Adam Newson to the Podcast joining myself and Dan, and we are buzzing for this one! We will talk about our match with Al-Hilal, plus talk transfers and any other big Chelsea topics right now. Show will be out on Friday afternoon at 3pm.
Thanks all, Si.
