Morning,
Can’t lie, I’m really starting to feel frustrated now, and this is coming from one of the usually more optimistic and positive Blues fans. We’ve still got a few days until we set off for America warranted, and there is another week then before we play our first match, so there IS time. However, I am really becoming frustrated with lack of movements. It’s SO important for at least a couple of new signings to be in the door hitting the ground running early doors. It’s not a good look so far, right now at least. Still hoping it will change very soon. We haven’t even managed to confirm Raheem Sterling yet, and I’m running out of excuses for the new regime (I’ve spent weeks explaining how things could be happening behind the scenes, I’ve tried to back them all I could). We were sold the dream, but it’s yet to surface…. I still think (hope) it will.
With all that in mind, a sort of half tongue in cheek, half being serious comment piece on the above subjects and much more, with my ‘to-do’ list for Thomas Tuchel and the new owners…. A stark reminder for them all here.
I’d then head to the live blog from yesterday to catch up on all the linked transfer targets and news surrounding Chelsea here.
The Matthijs De Ligt pursuit is also annoying me, and that’s now quickly becoming one of ‘those’ transfer sagas. We’ve got the latest on that one here based on sourced info.
More transfer news based on sourced info next and it’s a new name that has been given to us for the wide right area, an area on the pitch that Thomas Tuchel has wanted to recruit in for the best part of a year now. Check that one out here.
Finally, I think this is probably the most appropriate article you will read today and hopefully it will help you calm a little from all the drama that we see pop off from news outlets all day every day right now, it’s a piece explaining just how the media and reports work during this time here.
That’s it now, I’m off to watch the Tennis, not much else going on….
Peace, Si.
I know impossible to say, and this is my last ditch optimism, but do u think maybe the floodgates could open after the first signing??
