Chelsea Newsletter - Wednesday 31st August
Covering: Bumper news reports from the last 24 hours as we enter the final two days of the transfer window, Sourced inside info on all the late deals, Plus Southampton match review and thoughts...
Morning!
The final two days of the summer transfer window are upon us, the end is nigh! I’ll be pleased to see the window end purely from a hectic point of view, but I also cannot lie that I love the buzz of a window and will miss that part. But it’s been a real crazy one and has had many ups, and some pretty big downs too. I’ll do a proper review of the window when it’s over.
Amongst all of this, we had a game to play last night at Southampton. And what an absolute shambles that was YET AGAIN. Tired of saying the same things. Major questions need to be answered, we are terrible right now. You can check out my watch along match review here. And today, I’ll pen more responses.
Anyways, as I said earlier this week, I’m not concentrating on getting five articles out a day this week for many reasons, largely because of whatever I write will be transfer based right now, and as we know, these articles soon become irrelevant because of how quick things are changing! So I’m concentrating on the live blog this week and getting all my own sourced info into that, as well as reporting everything else that is going on. So head to the latest one here to get all your most recent Chelsea transfer news.
Today though, even with the above said, I actually did get five articles out (I just put them out first thing yesterday morning on the home page), but again, some might be irrelevant by the time you read this. Even still, there’s one on Wilf Zaha here, one on Billy Gilmour here, and one penning my transfer predictions for how I think the window will end here.
Remember, I have a big article with Ben Jacobs coming out tomorrow that will have all his inside info on what he is hearing about Chelsea transfers with two days left to go! Not sure exactly when that will go live yet, but I’ll send it to all the paying subscribers email addresses as soon as it’s up, so you wont miss it!
Podcast tomorrow with Graeme Bailey to cover any last minute deals too!
Have a good day and remember, head to the live blog today and keep it open!
Peace, Si.
I have serious reservations with the choices Tuchel is making. I hope I’m wrong and we turn a corner soon. It makes me worried when a coach can make Mount look like he’s disinterested to play for Chelsea. I hope we bin a few players that are desperate to leave and sign a few attackers before the close of the window. To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement and all I hear from Tuchel are excuses.
Thanks for all the updates, you and your team a doing a great job, sad Tuchel is intent on sucking all the fun out of following Chelsea for the moment !
