Good Morning people!

Today we rest easy, we rest knowing that we never have to speak to the name Jules Kounde again, at least not in a Chelsea transfer sense (we hope). The saga is over (again, we hope), and that is one major reason to be happy!

Before we totally duck out on this one though, I wanted to explain exactly what happened/what is happening here with Chelsea’s involvement in this saga, based on what I have correlated from my top sources.

The next point of call should be yesterday’s live blog here, where I’ve added all the latest transfer stories from other sources, as well as my own, and given my views on each one.

Chelsea have way too many players who want to leave, still at the club right now, and a lot of work to do to move some of them on. I’ve got some words and updates on that in general here.

Sticking with that subject, I’ve got a sourced article here on the futures of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, with an intriguing snippet on Ziyech in there as well.

Finally, Thomas Tuchel is still pushing to sign a wide right player, as he has wanted since last summer. He’s reiterated that desire recently, and I go through some names he’s looking at in this article here.

Remember, Macca is doing a Podcast later today with Ben Jacobs, and they will be chatting Chelsea transfers and seeing what the plans are now. That should hopefully be out around 6pm, providing Dan can remember how to upload it!

Also a reminder, I am ducking out now from this afternoon and won’t be back on until Sunday evening.
