Chelsea Newsletter: Wednesday 26th Oct
Covering: Salzburg reactions, Sources on Mateo Kovacic, Recruitment Department updates, Some lineup looks, Plus all the latest Chelsea news and transfer rumours...
Morning all!
Last night saw my final game Chelsea play whilst I’ve been over here in Cyprus, and I cannot wait to get back to being able to watch the games normally. We fly home on Saturday but making the most of our final days here at the pool house.
Chelsea played RB Salzburg in the Champions League last night, and unfortunately something came up for us and I was unable to watch the game. I will provide a match review and my reflections on the game today in an article or two. Charlie did manage to catch the game and cover for me again, so he’s got his watch along review of the match for you here.
Next point of call for you guys should be the live blog from yesterday here, covering anything that has happened in the last 24 hours, transfer rumours, and anything else as Chelsea remain active and busy.
I have another sourced article here on the future of Mateo Kovacic, with Chelsea hoping to try and get him signed to a contract extension soon. But it might not be as simple as that.
Before the Salzburg game last night, I forgot to do a preview and predictions article. But what I did, and it still remains relevant now, is I looked at some formations as a prediction for the game, and for our upcoming matches as well. So you can check that out here.
Finally, I know you have all been wondering and asking about it, what is going on with Chelsea’s recruitment department and all the names we are seeing linked and supposedly close to being appointed? Well, I’ve got all I know on that here.
That’s it for now. Have a good hump day people!
Peace, Si.
