Morning all,
Hope you are all continuing to enjoy the World Cup. There wasn’t any Chelsea involvement as such yesterday, but there was a Chelsea target to keep a close eye on, and I did just that. I did a live scouting report on Edson Alvarez for Mexico vs Poland yesterday which you can find here, the first of its kind that I’ve done on this site. Look out for more of these during the World Cup. I’ll announce which ones I am doing at the start of each day on the live blog that starts around 8am each day during the week.
Speaking of live blogs, head to yesterday’s here to catch up on all the latest Chelsea news and transfer rumours surrounding our club.
How about a sourced story on Declan Rice to Chelsea next? Yes, I know I wrote about him yesterday (I’m well on the prop again 😎) but this move excites me, and I also had a couple of fresh positive snippets from a top source to put out, so here it is!
Meanwhile, Ethan Ampadu began his World Cup campaign with Wales yesterday and he played a big part in turning the game around to earn a 1-1 draw against Christian Pulisic’s USA. I’ve spoken a bit about his game here, and the fact that he is sending a clear message to Chelsea and Graham Potter about his future.
Finally, today is poll day, I know you guys have been looking forward to that! The latest round of Chelsea polls will go live today. But first, take a look at the results from last week’s polls here where we decided on 2024 contracts, made some January transfer decisions, rated players, and picked our finishing group winners and runners up for the World Cup!
That’s it for now, enjoy another crazy day of consistent football! It’s the turn of Mateo Kovacic, Cesar Azpilicueta, and Kai Havertz today Love it!
Peace, Si.
