Chelsea Newsletter: Wednesday 22nd March
Covering: Three MORE sourced stories on striker backstory, Thomas Tuchel, and Frank Lampard, Plus Joao Felix future, and all the latest Chelsea news and transfer rumours!
Morning all,
It’s actually my birthday today! I turn 30 (or something close-ish to that…. add a few-ish 😅😎). So today I won’t really be around much, but Charlie will once again be stepping up as the absolute legend he is to run the live blog for us! I will be starting it today and running it until lunchtime-ish, then Charlie will be picking it up from around 2pm onwards and updating as and when he can until the evening between doing other things!
I will be getting my usual articles out today, and there will still be a newsletter out tomorrow. My good Wife is taking me away this weekend, but this evening I am with my parents, sister, niece and Wife for some food and drinks.
Let’s get to the news now!
Three more sourced stories to go through today, and I think you’ll agree, there are some VERY interesting bits of info in these.
Let’s begin with the striker backstory and the reason we are still in need of a new number 9 right now. This involves a story about Frank Lampard, Thomas Tuchel, Harry Kane, Erling Haaland, and Romelu Lukaku. You cannot possibly not be intrigued after reading that, get the story here!
The next two sourced stories continue the former manager theme. One here on Frank Lampard’s future with potential management opportunities arriving. But what does Lampard want to do? Find out in the article.
What about Thomas Tuchel? What is next on his agenda? Tottenham perhaps? Find out here.
There has been a lot of debate surrounding Joao Felix and whether Chelsea should be signing him on a permanent deal or not. A key bit of info came out this week from a reliable source, so I’ve got that in here as well as my verdict on signing Felix.
Finally, the live blog from yesterday had plenty of interesting stories, quotes, and transfer rumours in it, so don’t forget to recap on that here.
Right, I’m off to do a quick bit of work this morning, then enjoy a bit more birthday cake and sample a premium beer or two!
Have a good day all!
Peace, Si.
Transitioning from a young enthusiastic pundit to a now mature reflective battle scarred veteran. Happy 30th and I look forward to the best Chelsea newsletter in town for many more years.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIMON!
