Chelsea Newsletter - Wednesday 20th July
Covering: Sourced stories on wing back/full back, Kounde, as well as Timo Werner/Hakim Ziyech, Arguments on social media, Line up I want to see vs Charlotte, and all the latest transfer stories...
Good Morning!
I’m not quite sure how I managed to get this newsletter out to you, it was so hot in my house yesterday here in the UK that my fingers were literally sticking to the keys on my keyboard, making it near impossible to type anything 😂
Anyways, here is the news that I DID manage to get out!
First of all, head to yesterday’s very lively news blog where you can find a run down of all the latest transfer stories as well as any other bits of sourced info and opinions from myself on the stories of the day here. This is where I exclusively broke the Chelsea closing in on a fee to sign Kounde news yesterday!
Next up, I have a couple of sourced stories to run through. The first one is one the futures of both Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech. Is there a chance that they both still leave the club this summer? Find out here.
The next one is on right full back back targets that Chelsea are looking at after deciding not to pursue Jonathan Clauss. This article also contains a couple of options for our attack as well, and one brand new name that has come onto our radar that I guarantee you would not have heard about anywhere else before this! All that and more, here.
Chelsea face Charlotte in their next pre-season game in the very early hours of Thursday morning this week, and I have typed up some words on that as well as the line up and formation that I’d love to see Thomas Tuchel go with here.
Finally, just some words on social media and the arguments that I have sadly been witnessing all week. It’s exhausting, it really is. More words and thoughts on that here.
Due to him being one of the very best Chelsea insiders out there right now and with his information being so accurate and detailed, I’ve got our own Rob Pratley to join me on the Podcast again today in Macca’s absence (still on holiday). We will be recording today at 4pm, with the show out by around 6pm.
Have a good day people!
Peace, Si.
Morning Simon! Much appreciated that you do all you can to deliver the newsletters/articles/blogs. The heat yesterday felt like punishment 😩. Quick question are the pods now moved from Thursday to Wednesday permanently? Kudos to you and the team and have a great day👊🏽
