Covering: Ownership Takeover LATEST, Mixed Emotions On All Linked Names, Time To Focus Again, Proud Of The Academy, #CFC Have A New Kante, Looking Ahead To Lille Tonight!
Good Morning!
It’s time for the Chelsea players and staff to refocus and compose once again amidst all the uncertainty, with another big match to play versus Lille in the Champions League knockout stages tonight.
We lead 2-0 from the first leg, but bearing in mind the circumstances, we can take nothing for granted. Some words ahead of the game here.
Thomas Tuchel also had plenty to say before the game in his pre-match press conference, of which you can find the key points and team news here, and this is also where you can find ALL the latest surrounding our ownership takeover.
That article above is mad hectic too, so much went on Tuesday, it was a really tough one to with so much more hatred directed towards our club, part of that though was actually our fault… Having said that, the UK Government absolutely hate us and they’ve been disgusting.
I’ve had a few people ask me who I would like to be the new owners and what I think of reported linked names looking to buy us. It’s mixed emotions, and I think a lot of what is being said about certain parties is largely motivated by the fact that people are keen on another owner. I think some perspective is needed. Be careful what you wish for, anyone but Ricketts/Johnson for me. I’ve got some words on that here.
I wanted to put something positive and more importantly, truthful out on our youth academy after a certain ‘pundit’ made some comments this week. Check that out here.
And finally, another positive article here on why we might already have our next N’Golo Kante at the club and a very good argument as to why, along with the stats that prove it!
Remember guys, I have the live blogs going every day and this is where you will find the very latest updates on ownership. So keep checking back in, it’ll be pinned to the top of my home page.
Peace, Si.
