Covering: Roman Abramovich 'poisoned', Can Roman keep the club? Latest on ownership race, Finkelstein in the data driving seat for Boehly, Pulisic's 'wild night out', How #CFC could re-sign Guehi..
Morning,
Yesterday was a bit of a wild one. Although it happened at the beginning of this month, a story that broke yesterday in America and also confirmed by UK media, claims Roman Abramovich and others involved with peace talks in the Ukraine were showing symptoms of being poisoned. Obviously I don’t need to speculate here and I’ll let you guys make your conclusions, but for me it’s clear what is transpiring here.
Abramovich for me, looks to have been found guilty by association by the UK Government. Read about that and all the latest happenings at our club here. Thankfully, all involved will be OK.
Now I actually wrote this article BEFORE the news of the poisonings coming out, and ironically that news actually makes it slightly more relevant and a warranted question to ask. But here, I ponder whether Abramovich could actually still end up coming out of this owning Chelsea…
However, we must still assume that he will have to sell up for now, and continuing on that subject, here is a piece about Boehly’s consortium, or more importantly, one man who could be spearheading a very positive part of Boehly’s consortium, Daniel Finkelstein.
A couple of articles now away from Roman and ownership to give you all a little breather. One very positive one here on Christian Pulisic’s ‘wild night out’ this week. And finally, a piece here on Marc Guehi and how Chelsea might be able to sign him back one day soon…
Cheers all!
Peace, Si.
