It’s a bit of a glum one I am afraid, but I literally can’t write anything else right now, and that is coming from someone who is usually one of the more optimistic and patient of Chelsea fans. But even I’m losing the faith now.

I explain why I am losing the faith, and why pretty much 95% of the Chelsea fanbase HAVE lost the faith in Graham Potter in this one here to start the day.

The board are seemingly not losing the faith just yet though, at least for right now, and I do fear a turn onto them now very soon. There’s a lot of warranted anger and concern out there right now, and I think it will soon turn towards the board. But sacking a second manager in one season after ridding Thomas Tuchel, who was liked by the fanbase, is going to create a hideous media circus and look very bad for them. I also think the comparisons to Arsenal and Mikel Arteta’s start as manager there needs to stop. The referring to an Amazon Prime series is only fuelling the anger, and the situations are actually quite different when you deep it. Read more on that one here.

Chelsea legend Gary Cahill was reflecting the game on Match of the Day this weekend and he raised a very good point that we all know and clearly see as an issue. I’ve addressed why quality gets you so far, but it’s actually your personality and mentality that takes you that extra mile here.
