Chelsea Newsletter - Tuesday 26th October
Covering: EFL Preview, Kepa to Juventus, Tuchel prefers Chelsea over PSG, CHO responds to Tuchel's 'tough love', and our general news sweep up...
Hello fellow Blues!
It’s another match day Newsletter, as the boys get ready to welcome Southampton back to The Bridge for the second time in a matter of weeks, this time for the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
We beat Aston Villa on penalties in the last round, and we’re up against Premier League opposition again. Here is my match preview article and my predicted line up.
Kepa Arrizabalaga is likely to get the nod in goal tonight, as he did in the last round, but his future at Chelsea looks bleaker by the day as he continues to stay as a backup choice.
He will get a run of games as the number one when Edouard Mendy heads off to the AFCON in January, but even still it looks like the only way up for him now would be out of Stamford Bridge. Here is a transfer rumour rated piece involving Kepa.
A couple of pieces relating to Thomas Tuchel now. First of all, more public words have been spoken from both him and Callum Hudson-Odoi, and it’s a positive response. Read about the latest on that situation here.
Some juicy info from our sources here on Thomas Tuchel’s thoughts on managing Chelsea, managing PSG, and ‘big egos’….
And finally, our general news sweep up article here covering any other bits of news and Chelsea related content you may have missed from Monday.
Enjoy the game tonight guys, let’s hope for progression into the next round and a few fringe players staking a claim.
Peace, Si.
