Covering: Late window drama for Dembele and a new left back, Looking at the benefits of Tuchel's 4-1-4-1 formation, Di Canio's honest words on Lukaku, and live news blog covering everything else..
Morning!
We are into the last six days of the current winter transfer window, and as we all know this is often when some of the best and most exciting business happens.
Chelsea are still prioritising bringing in a new/old left wing back, and I’ve got a couple of articles on that first.
One here on Tuchel chasing a ‘specialist’ left wing back, and one of my own sourced stories on the situation here.
The first article above also has some Ousmane Dembele news from a reliable report, and also some information of my own on that. Could Chelsea be in for some late window drama?
Meanwhile, I enjoyed watching Thomas Tuchel trumping Antonio Conte with his 4-1-4-1 formation on Sunday, and I’ve looked at the positives and negatives of this line up and reviewed it here. Spoiler alert, there are more positives than negatives, quite a bit more!
Romelu Lukaku wasn’t really on it again on Sunday, and I think Paolo Di Canio’s review of his performance here is pretty spot on, unfortunately.
And finally, as I’ve started doing now, my live Chelsea news blog as it happens covering everything from Monday here. Don’t forget to look out for these at the start of every day (Sunday - Thursday) on my website that I will be updating all day as regularly as possible as things happen as your own stop shop to ALL Chelsea news!
Thanks everyone, have a good one, Si.
