Morning all!
We are cracking through April here and that means the football season will soon be coming to an end and all focus and attention will turn to the summer transfer window, and of course, Chelsea’s next permanent manager.
We could hear the conclusion on that this week, or at least confirmation of who it will be. Mauricio Pochettino is the one all outlets are reporting as the firm favourite now and is expected to be announced as our next manager. Again, not a done deal yet at the time of writing this, but it appears very close. Get all the latest on that, as well as some very positive Mason Mount news and anything else that went on in the last 24 hours here!
The summer window is going to be another crazy busy one for Chelsea, especially in terms of outgoings. Ben Jacobs confirms five players who are on the transfer market this summer as well as all the insights on our manager pursuit, and so much more in his latest extensive and exclusive Chelsea column for us here.
Speaking of potential outgoings this summer, could Kalidou Koulibaly be one already? I think if we are going to invest our time in Levi Colwill this summer, which we absolutely must, then it might be wise to try and break even for Koulibaly. More on that here.
As you’ll know, we have been conducting polls for the last couple of weeks so we can select our Chelsea squad for next season. We have now reached a conclusion which you can view here. Next up today, picking the best starting Xl from it, so don’t miss that article out later!
And finally, a new striker is on the agenda at Chelsea this summer, but who will it be? Might it be one of Tammy Abraham or Romelu Lukaku? You’ll have to click here to find out more on that!
Alright, off to the live blog now from 8am, with lot’s seemingly going on this week! We have a game tomorrow as well!
Peace, Si.
