Covering: EXCL: Chelsea make Richarlison enquiry, Sources and reports on Sterling, Laporte, Clauss, Skriniar, and more, Boehly as Chairman, City fan on Sterling, Plus loads more...
Good Morning people!
This week started with a bang with the announcement of Bruce Buck stepping down as Chelsea Chairman. I have my reasons, but I was very pleased to hear this news. Todd Boehly is now expected to become our next club chairman, and I only see this as good news. Check that out here.
Then not long after that came the news that Marina Granovskaia is set to leave Chelsea as well, and I actually think the time is right for this as well. You can recap on that one here.
I’d head to the live blog from yesterday next if I was you, because if you found yourself to be busy yesterday, there was A LOT going on. I have it all covered for you here. Things are really heating up now!
Next up, Raheem Sterling is the talk of the town right now as Chelsea look to try and negotiate a deal to sign him this summer. Who best to ask about him as a player than a lifelong Manchester City fan who has been watching Sterling play closely for the last seven years? I drafted in my best friend to get his thoughts on Sterling here.
But Chelsea are also firmly in for Richarlison of Everton as well, as we reported last week. We then got more info later on Monday and managed to get an exclusive out. Remind yourselves of that one here along with all the details of our enquiry for him.
Another transfer rumour to rate here and it is for a wide right player, Jonathan Clauss from Lens. It’s surprisingly not actually the first time he’s been linked with us recently, more on that in the article.
Finally, some sourced stuff and reports on defenders here in my final article for the day. This one goes through where we’re at right now in many situations for new centre-backs, and it also mentions a new name for the shortlist!
That’s it for now, have a good Tuesday!
Peace, Si.
