Good morning!

Tumbleweed just flew past my front window; I just hate it when Chelsea don’t play! But as I always say, there’s still a lot to talk about in the wonderful world of Chelsea FC, and I have all the latest below.

First of all, catch up on all the latest general and transfer news from the last 24 hours from yesterday’s live blog here.

Next up, the biggest news that is happening right now for Chelsea is the reformation of the recruitment department. The first point of call is a new sporting director and that is fully expected to be Christoph Freund from RB Salzburg now. So, I have profiled him and also have some very interesting, sourced stuff in here.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are changing the whole shape and plans of our loan system and really looking to turn this into a vital tool for our future. There is some great news in here.

Finally, everyone is now saying the same thing, it is time to re-shape our midfield at the club, and there are some plans in place. I’ve got more words on that as well as some more opinions here.
