Well folks, that’s another transfer window done and dusted, and I think I might need the next month off to recover from the drama and intensity of this one to be honest…
Yep, I’m being sarcastic again! Chelsea didn’t exactly keep me on my toes during this window to say the least, but there we go. I’ll speak a bit more on what I think of our lack of January business later this week.
But in the meantime, I’m not sure whether this will cheer you all up or the opposite, but I’ve looked back to one of the times I remember as being one of the most exciting during my time supporting The Blues here, the January transfer window of 2010/11.
You can also catch up on all that did happen related to Chelsea on deadline day this year here, with the all the latest news from Monday which includes some other bits of transfer news to keep an eye on.
It looks like Anthony Barry has chosen to stay at Chelsea despite speaking with Everton about joining Frank Lampard there, and this is amazing news for us. More on that here.
Staying on that subject for now, a look at exactly how Lampard managed to land the Everton job after a year out of the game here.
Finally, Harvey Vale was the subject of real interest this month, but Chelsea rejected any advances. Find out why here.
That’s it for now, speak tomorrow!
Cheers, Si.
