Chelsea Newsletter: Tuesday 18th Oct!
Covering: Sources on players reacting to Potter, Loftus-Cheek and Kepa's comebacks, Thoughts on The Villa win, Plus all the latest transfer and general news...
Morning all!
I’m firmly back in the swing of things now as our Cyprus adventure continues! Although, we haven’t been doing much as we have had awful thunderstorms now for the last couple of days here. Imagine that!? We’ve been very lucky with the weather though before this so can’t complain. Makes me feel at home at least!
The news continues, and I have still been writing some more reactions to our win against Aston Villa on Sunday. I have put my detailed reflections and player performance review here to start off with today.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek was one of the better performers from Sunday, and I’ve got an extensive article on him here and how he can still make Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad this winter as he continues his RUBENtada!
Speaking of which, Kepa Arrizabalaga also seems to be forming a good little comeback at Chelsea right now, and he was THE star of the show on Sunday, literally keeping us in the game many times. I’ve got some words on him here.
Graham Potter’s hugely impressive start as Chelsea manager continues, and I have some sourced info here on how he has been received by the players after six games in, how they have reacted to training, Potter’s methods and man-management.
Finally, check in on all the general Chelsea news from the last 24 hours from yesterday’s live blog here. I will be running these blogs whenever I can for the next two weeks but might not be every day until I’m back in the UK again.
That’s it for now, I’m off to do a sun dance!
Peace, Si.
Ok👍
I Feel Potter is being bias and favoring the English players
