Yep, we’re still the Champions of the world, I just checked! We can milk it a bit, and don’t let anyone (Craig ‘Bitter’ Burley) tell you that this trophy isn’t major, because it is, just look at the world class teams we had to beat to get there.

But anyway, let’s talk about that penalty and the distraction techniques from captain Cesar Azpilicueta here. This man was a club legend even before this incident, there are no doubts at all now. It’s also interesting to hear about his relationship with Kai Havertz.

It was also a very important game for Romelu Lukaku and his future at the club, and it felt like we might have seen a turning point. Another club legend Didier Drogba certainly seems to think so, read all about that here.

It was Callum Hudson-Odoi who provided a lovely assist for Lukaku to grab his goal on Saturday, and I’ve penned some words on him and Thomas Tuchel here.
