Morning people!
The rumour mill continues to spin and other clubs are beginning to get their major deals done this window. Manchester City announced Erling Haaland yesterday, that was painful. And Liverpool have tied up Darwin Nunez. Two big deals already. I have no fear that our ‘statement signing’ or two will soon be happening.
Catch up on all the latest transfer rumours and general Chelsea news from yesterday in our live blog here to start your day.
After my reports on incomings earlier this week, a few of you have requested I do something similar with possible outgoings. None of these are moving quite as fast at the moment purely due to the break and players needing to have talks with Thomas Tuchel and the new owners. But I have managed to put out a few updates on those here.
Next up, we should soon be able to announce a summer signing, and that is expected to be the arrival of Chicago Fire goalkeeper, Gabriel Slonina. Get the latest on that one here.
A comment piece here along with some quotes on why Reece James could have been the next Didier Drogba at Chelsea!
Finally, our friend Felix Johnston kindly let us use his excellent report on the loan players from this season after he went direct to fans of the clubs that they played for to get their review and ratings of each player. Really interesting stuff this, check it out here.
That’s all for now, have a good Tuesday! Oh, there will be no live blog from me today, unfortunately I am at a funeral this afternoon so I won’t be able to update. I’ll do a news sweep to round up when I am back later on today though instead!
Peace, Si.
