Chelsea Newsletter - Tuesday 13th Sept
Covering: Sources on new DOF, Some interesting quotes from Potter, Time to rebuild the midfield, Football's emotional pendulum continues to swing, Plus all the latest transfer and Chelsea news...
Morning all,
The last two weeks have really been quite something at Chelsea Football Club. Imagine writing a book about the last six months? Maybe one day, someone will. The stories that have happened at this club recently will be told back in 100s of years. And we are all right here living it. The story continues though, as it always does, and I’ll be right here in it.
The opening paragraph leads into my first article of the day, detailing football’s emotional pendulum and how it continues to swing. Sunday hit hard again, right? Check that out here.
Next up, I ran the live blog yesterday so as always, that is the place you will find the very latest Chelsea news, sourced inside info, and any transfer bits flying around. Get that one here. This includes Graham Potter’s first bits of media, comments, and interviews!
News of N’Golo Kante turning down a new verbal contract offer from Chelsea filtered in yesterday. I’ve got a report and my opinion on that situation here, as well as reasoning why I believe it’s time to continue with our midfield rebuild.
A very interesting article now on Graham Potter, which continues my content on our new head coach this week. I found a gem of an interview with him and transcript some of the best bits here. There are words on recruitment, his management style, and loads more in there. Not to be missed this one, some great insights.
Finally, a sourced story on our search for a new Director of Football, and there is a new name in here. Not sure if it is THE new name though…
Have a super Tuesday!
Peace, Si.
