Chelsea Newsletter - Thursday 6th January
Covering: Emerson to be recalled? Chelsea confident of keeping Rudiger? Spurs Review, Tchouameni and Kounde updates (sources), and our general news sweep..
Morning all,
It was another big London derby last night with Chelsea facing Tottenham at Stamford Bridge in the semi finals of the League Cup.
It was a great performance and a great result for Chelsea, just what we all needed! You can read my watch-along report on the game here that also has my verdict.
These situations are changing fast of course, but as I have been asked a few times now if there are any updates on Aurelien Tchouameni or Jules Kounde, I have penned some words on those situations here.
Some more updates on our pursuit of a new/old left wing back here now with Emerson Palmieri the subject. I’ve also added in some of my own information to this rumour rater article. There is also this update on wing backs I did here after this piece that you may want to check out as well if you haven’t already.
Another rumour to rate here with claims that Chelsea are now confident of keeping Antonio Rudiger at the club this summer. I’ve added my thoughts and anything I know on this.
Finally, some Erling Haaland noise, plus some other wing back updates in our general news sweep up article here going through anything else you might have missed from Wednesday.
Today we have another transfer Podcast special, and this time we have bought on our friend and reliable transfer insider for Eurosport amongst other channels, Dean Jones.
We will be asking him about all the main transfer topics right now and any potential Chelsea business for January. Will be out Thursday afternoon/evening. Don’t miss it!
Cheers, Si.
