Chelsea Newsletter - Thursday 4th November
Covering: Kai Havertz debate, RLC or Yaya Toure?, Harvey Vale player profile, Levi Colwill loan report, and our general news sweep...
Welcome back to another Newsletter people!
We’ve got many discussion points floating around the football hemisphere in the last day or two, and Kai Havertz is one of those debates.
I’ve given my views here on what I think about his Chelsea career so far, his best position, and where next for the German international?
As if I need an excuse to talk about my long-time favourite Chelsea player, but they’ve given me one anyway!
Off the back of my debut on BT Sport on Tuesday night, I’ve written a piece here on the form of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and his comparisons with the great Yaha Toure, who ironically was one of favourite my non-Chelsea players when he was still playing.
18-year old rising academy star Harvey Vale made the bench against Malmo again on Tuesday night, and worrying he only has a year and a half left on his current contract.
So I drafted in two top insiders to speak about this situation and give us their thoughts on Vale here.
From one rising academy star to a graduated academy star in the shape of Levi Colwill, who is currently ballin’ out on loan with Huddersfiled Town in the Championship.
I’ve put together my first ever loan report on him here. I might start doing more of these, let me know your thoughts in the comments if there is anyone you’d like me to reach out and look into?
Finally, if you love an entertaining transfer rumour, we certainly have a couple of those in today’s general news sweep up which you can check out here.
Lovely stuff, speak to you all again tomorrow!
Peace, Si.
Thanks Simon. Loving the news updates and your back pages on TalkSPORT. Great work. 👍👍
