Morning all!
Pre-season starts on Saturday! Can you quite believe it? Not all of our players are expected back this weekend, but many of them will be. Get all the latest news on that and what we can expect here.
It might be best now to recap with the latest news and rumours on the likes of Raphinha, Kounde, De Ligt, Sterling, and more from yesterday’s live blog here. It was another day at the circus in terms of rumours, and what on earth is going on with Raphinha?
Next up, it’s a transfer rumour that I feel like I have rated before, and will probably be rating again, as he seemingly gets linked to Chelsea every single window, and that is Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Chelsea. I’ve given my views and info on that one here.
Another great piece here from the talented Ryan Gunness asking whether we have the strikers to fit Thomas Tuchel’s philosophy, rounding up his latest series of tactical articles.
Rob Pratley as well has put his latest article out, which is part two of explaining just how transfer deals work. Check that out here.
Kalidou Koulibaly back in the mix people, how about that!? We told you about this one back in May, and the dialogue has been kept open. You can catch the latest on that one here.
Finally, I’ve had a little bit of fun with this speculative article that is also based on snippets I’ve been hearing. A look here at how Chelsea might end the transfer window this summer and line-up with next season.
Oh, and in case you missed our exclusive yesterday, Chelsea looking to bring in a new club exec. Find out more on that here.
That’s it for now folks. Not sure on the Podcast for today yet, Macca is at a tournament, we are still trying to sort a time. Might be today, or might be tomorrow, we’ll bring you something anyway and will update on the blog!
Peace, Si.
