Covering: Sources on sporting director, Year of changes, Tammy Abraham back? Levi Colwill must be prioritised, Plus all the latest CFC news and transfer news....
Morning!
Domestic football is BACK! Chelsea will play a game of football again and Graham Potter will be able to continue with his Chelsea era! It seems ages ago since he took charge of his first match, but on Saturday he takes the reins again and I’m excited for it!
Let’s start today off with the live blog from yesterday here to recap on anything you may have missed from the world of Chelsea news and transfers.
Next up, I checked in with sources on the latest situation with our attempts to bring in a new sporting director, as well as other new recruits in that department. There are some interesting bits in here with some potential exciting moves set to play out.
We are going through the year of changes at Chelsea Football Club right now and more staff members have been moved on this week with more expected. The changes continue, and you can get all the latest on that here as well as my views on it all.
Tammy Abraham back to Stamford Bridge anyone? I’ve given you an opportunity to answer that question here and give your reasoning for it ahead of a summer when Chelsea have a clause to re-sign him should they wish to use it.
Finally, Levi Colwill is a superb talent, and he showed that again this week for the England U21s. I’ve got some reactions from that here as well as explaining why he needs to be prioritised at our club and why Brighton might not turn out to be the best move for him.
That’s it for now, we have a Podcast later featuring myself, Macca, and a guest. So look out for that around 6pm time tonight. Then tomorrow will be my last newsletter for a couple of weeks, but I’ll write another article tomorrow explaining all that again and just checking in one last time before I head to Cyprus. I will not be a stranger though; I plan to check in even in the weeks I have off. Appreciate you all!
Peace, Si.
