Morning,
It’s another Chelsea match day people! The Blues take on Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League tonight, and as always at this stage of the season, it’s a big game.
I’ve got your match preview article here which includes my score predictions and likely Chelsea line-up for tonight.
Next up, just as with Tuesday, there has been a lot of little stories and snippets surrounding Chelsea on Wednesday that you will want to check out here. Some stuff on Thomas Tuchel’s future, ownership takeover latest, and some more transfer rumours.
Next up, some further news on Declan Rice and some more little snippets I’ve been told this week on that situation here.
Staying on the subject of our summer activity under the new owners, I think it is important to try and remain as realistic as possible to avoid disappointment. And this article here is based around that, looking at returning loanees this summer as well as free agents, and a profile on Amos Pieter, who we are reportedly interested in. It’s a new era and there will not be another Roman Abramovich.
Finally, a piece here on how Chelsea have never replaced an Eden Hazard-type player and the need to bring in a player with the ‘X-Factor’. I realise this sort of contradicts what I’ve written above but at the same time it doesn’t - We just need smart recruitment.
On the Podcast this week, we are a little up in the air. We’re supposed to have a guest as we reported last week on the Pod but at the minute we aren’t sure if he can make it now. And if he doesn’t, instead of myself and Dan recording today and releasing right before the game, we might try and record a match review Pod on the Friday instead. I’ll let you guys know what’s happening.
