Chelsea Newsletter: Thursday 27th Oct
Covering: My Salzburg reactions, Chelsea want Guimaraes, Stewart Appointed, Multi-Club Model era begins, Sources on Jorginho, Plus all the latest CFC news and transfer rumours.....
Morning all!
Hope you’re all having a good week! Final two days in Cyprus now for us, and I’ve got mixed feelings about coming home. Looking forward to seeing all my friends, family, and my two cats (mainly my two cats 😂). But yeah, gutted to be leaving paradise and this beautiful weather.
I still have one more Podcast to do live here in Cyprus though, and that will be out around 7pm ish this evening. Macca has managed to get Matt Debono to join us as a guest this week. Matt started and runs Absolute Chelsea, the biggest Chelsea news Twitter account around! So this will be a top show for sure.
Let’s run through the news now. First of all, Chelsea officially confirmed the appointment of Laurence Stewart from Monaco yesterday. So you can catch up on that as well as all the latest Chelsea news and transfer rumours here in yesterday’s love blog.
Off the back of that news on Stewart, it points well in the direction of the multi-club era beginning under Todd Boehly and Clearlake Captial. But what exactly does that mean for Chelsea? What will happen? I’ve got answers to those questions and more here.
Next up, as well as the Stewart news, news of Jorginho and Chelsea discussing a contract extension certainly divided our fanbase once again yesterday. So I’ve got some sourced stuff on that here.
As you’ll know, I didn’t watch the Salzburg game at the time, but I’ve since caught up with it and put out my extensive review and reflections article here.
Finally, Chelsea’s interest in Bruno Guimaraes, as first reported by us last week, is another big topic of conversation this week. I’ve got some more info and thoughts on that potential move here to finish up today.
That’s it for now! Have a good one!
Peace, Si.
