Covering: Declan Rice 'noise', Sources on Raphinha, Chelsea mean business, Is Tuchel now under pressure? Go-time in the transfer market, Chairman Boehly, James new contract, Latest transfer rumours...
Morning!
Hope we are all doing well this Thursday morning. It probably comes as no surprise to hear that yesterday was another absolutely crazy one. Things are moving, things are happening, Todd Boehly is NOT messing around, the work is well underway.
It’s incredible how much Boehly has done in three weeks, the work rate this guy has is like Kante and Mount combined! ‘Chelsea mean business’ is the title of my first comment piece of the day here.
Check the live blog from yesterday here for all the latest transfer news plus news of a new contract in the pipeline for Reece James, as well as the official new board members being confirmed.
Another comment piece here reacting to an article yesterday on Thomas Tuchel being under pressure this season. Whilst yes, he is obviously going to be under pressure, as every football manager is, I wanted to spin a positive on this instead of a negative. No time for negatives right now, this is a hugely positive and exciting time for our club.
We have a sourced article here on the latest situation with Leeds United winger Raphinha and whether Chelsea will make a move to sign him this summer.
And finally, some more words/’noise’ on Declan Rice here, because I know you guys wanted some more and stronger hints on the latest there…. !
We have Rob Pratley joining us here now as well for some trial articles. As you know, I’ve been quoting a bit of his info that he’s given to me lately and I’ve found all his info to be very good. He got the scoop on Chelsea’s interest in Michael Edwards 24 hours before any other source. So here is his first article for us on DOFs.
Don’t forget, we’ve got Ben Jacobs on the Podcast today to talk transfers. Ben is very well connected to members of our new board, so he will know what is going on, and we have many questions for him today. Don’t miss this one, will be out around 6pm tonight!
Peace, Si.
