Covering: Malmo reactions, Mason Mount, Thomas Tuchel's formation plans, Erling Haaland to Chelsea talk is back, and our general news roundup
Morning!
Chelsea beat Malmo 4-0 with a very convincing result and performance despite it being against a very poor side.
A little bit mixed emotions really due to the injuries and whether we really needed to take such risks with our team selection. But you can read my full thoughts on the game last night here.
Chelsea are preparing a bumper contract offer for Mason Mount, read all about that here, plus Olivier Giroud’s latest comments on the midfielder, and my own words on the constant criticism he is facing.
Thomas Tuchel has been speaking about the prospect of changing formations to help improve our attacking game this week, so I’ve put out all I know on what he has been doing in training for this right from when he first joined up until now, here.
Erling Haaland to Chelsea? Because we all needed that rumour back in our lives again, right?
Well, like it or not, it’s back, and you can blame Mr Thomas Tuchel for this one, because he has been flirting with Haaland on Wednesday, which has prompted me to rate this transfer rumour in a slightly different kind of way here.
Busy yesterday? No worries at all, here is everything else you may have missed regarding our club in our latest general news roundup!
Today we are recording our 50th Podcast, can you actually believe that? It only feels like yesterday we started this project and here we are all of a sudden pretty much a year later hitting our 50th Podcast episode.
It feels good, and Dan (Macca) arranged a special show, bringing in some of your faves from Chelsea Twitter to join us in our biggest show (in terms of the amount of guests) ever!
We have Jai Mcintosh, Daniel Childs, Mxdiano, and of course myself and Dan McCarthy on the show! You’d don’t want to miss this one! Will be out Friday at 3pm.
Peace, Si.
