Morning all,
First and foremost, a massive HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my pops, who is a keen Chelsea fan and a subscriber here! I won’t give away his age or embarrass him because he will be reading this, but he’s just got his bus pass……. Oooops, my bad! Enjoy your day old man and I’ll see you later on! Hey, at least I didn’t find an embarrassing photo of you to show all the subs here in the community!!! (not yet at least, there is still time).
This is why we recorded our latest Podcast episode yesterday, so if you’ve missed that, you can find it here. It’s myself and Macca basically dissecting all the latest issues, news, and speaking on the potential next Blues boss!
The live blog was popping off yesterday so please do make sure you check that out here first. There was some pretty significant manager news with Mauricio Pochettino really coming into the frame (as I’ve been reporting for weeks now). Also some pretty big sourced info on managers from us in there.
We are doing some polls this week building our Chelsea squad for the summer as a bit of fun. A lot of you are getting involved which is great, but I need your help on selecting potential transfer targets for the summer now here so I can conduct the next set of polls as part of it later today.
More and more questions are being asked of our owners and board this week after the defeats continue, which I guess is entirely natural. But words from Chelsea legends Joe Cole and Didier Drogba, as well as current pending legend Thiago Silva, have really caught my attention. See the quotes and my views on it all here.
Meanwhile, Fulham striker Aleksander Mitrovic was at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night speaking to Blues fans. Was there anything in this? Is a move to Chelsea likely? Read all about that here.
We don’t have many games left this season, but I now see it as the perfect opportunity to blood some of the youngster and fringe players in to our team, and quite frankly, there are now no excuses for this not to happen. You can read about that one and the players I would expect to get minutes here.
I’ll be running the live blog as always today, but I might have to see if Charlie can cover me tonight as I’ll be round the old mans for a BBQ!
Peace, Si.
Happy birthday to Simon’s dad 😀
Happy Birthday Si’s Dad.
Hope you have a good one. 👍🏼
