Morning!
We are now very close to club football returning, with the World Cup concluding this weekend. Then it will be all systems go as Chelsea prepare to take on Bournemouth in the Premier League.
The big issue they face now though is a lack of strikers, with Armando Broja now set to miss at least the rest of this season. The club are being proactive and starting to look at replacement options, and I have a bumper sourced article here to go through all of that, with 12 potential striker options to report.
Whilst it has become very important to replace Broja for the rest of the season, Chelsea must not ignore the midfield and we still need to recruit there. But will we? I have some opinions and sourced info answering that very question here.
Meanwhile, our new owners have been speaking on the latest official club forum, and the topic of conversation was ticketing and the atmosphere around Stamford Bridge. They say that they want to improve this and make it more intimidating for away clubs. Full story here.
YO! Getting your attention to take part in the latest set of interactive polls here. This is where our community gets to send it’s messages to the Chelsea board on a lot of current affairs!
