Chelsea Newsletter: Thursday 10th Nov
Covering: EFL Cup reactions, Sourced stories on our interest in signing Romeo Lavia, and Jorginho's contract situation, Latest interactive poll article out now, Plus all the rest of the CFC news!
Morning all,
A couple of big sourced stories out today, but first of all, we have a game to review and talk about.
Chelsea faced Manchester City in the third round of the EFL Cup last night. I had zero expectations before the game, and to be honest, I’ve just made peace with our issues. It certainly wasn’t anywhere near as bad as the Arsenal game! You can find my review and thoughts on the game here.
The live blog from yesterday features quotes, transfer rumours, and anything else related to Chelsea from the last 24 hours. You can find that here.
The latest interactive poll article is out now, and I know how much you guys love partaking in these! Next to sourced news, these have probably become our most popular articles, so don’t miss out and take part here!
Two sourced stories now to see us out for today. The first one is on the Jorginho contract situation. Will he stay or will he go? Find out the latest here.
And finally, an exciting bit of news about another midfield target for January, Romeo Lavia from Southampton. The 18-year-old is really making waves right now and he has done way more than just catch the eye of Chelsea. Find out more on that here.
We will be recording the latest Podcast episode tonight and believe it or not, we are bringing on youth expert and our friend Felix Johnston for his first ever appearance on the Pod! We are recording a bit later tonight around 5.30pm, so expect the episode to be released later in the evening.
Have a good one!
Peace, Si.
I don’t know about anyone else
And I know it’s a bit too early
I also believe there is a need to drift away from the way the club was being run
But at the same time... we can’t be accepting poor performances and looking for those small minor improvements and be content with it.
That’s not what Chelsea, an elite club in world football is about.
Yes we need a manger to build something long term, but it’s got to be someone with the charisma and CV to take this club forward.
I don’t believe Potter is that man and the longer this continues the longer me as fan (since 2000) will continue feeling distant from the club and I do believe there are quite a few who feel the same.
At the same time I’m surely not one of those who wants Tuchel back, but we need someone of that level of quality to take this project up.
