Morning all!
I am just getting set to head off into Glastonbury Festival for the day. I’m most looking forward to watching McFly (don’t judge)….. and maybe a bit of Kendrick Lamar… 😎😅
Wanted to get some news out to you guys first and foremost though because there is a lot going on right now, and remember, there will be no newsletter on Monday as I am not around to prep it today, hence why I am doing my first ever Sunday newsletter instead!
There’s been a lot of noise the last couple of days on Matthijs De Ligt, Timo Werner, Declan Rice, Raheem Sterling, and more names.
So I’ve checked in with my sources to find out what is going on, and I’ve started with the defence here addressing the De Ligt/Werner swap rumours - my sources believe there could be another player mentioned in this deal as well, so I reveal who that is in this one (I actually already mentioned this last week when we FIRST reported Chelsea stepping up interest in De Ligt before any other outlet/source). Then onto the midfield with a Declan Rice update and divulging a bit more on these ‘hints’ that I keep dropping, whilst explaining the situation as I see it right now in full here. And then finally, looking at the attack here, with some interesting bits on Richarlison, Sterling, Raphinha, and Dembele.
Todd Boehly is NOT messing around in the slightest right now, and I am told he is looking to move any players on who Thomas Tuchel is not worried about keeping this summer, hence the Hakim Ziyech leaving rumours heating up, as well as others. But Boehly is also looking to pull off player trades, or swap deals as we know them to be called, on a few deals this summer. Find out more about that in this deep dive article here.
Finally, I ran a live blog yesterday here so that I could cover all the latest transfer rumours and stories from all the top sources, so I’d make sure to check in on that one if you haven’t already. It’s worth remember to always check comments on these live blogs, because a lot of subscribers use this article as a bit of a Q&A section, which is totally fine with me by the way, so there might be some stuff I report/divulge there that might not always make it to articles/blogs!
Right, I’m off, pray for dry weather people! Catch up with you all on Monday, hope you’re all enjoying your weekends whatever you are up to!
Peace, Si.
What a tireless and expert involvement Si! Enjoy Glastonbury! Greetings from Werchter :-)
