Chelsea Newsletter: Monday 7th Nov
Covering: Arsenal reactions, Sources on Endrick, Soonsup-Bell, and Webster, Does Chilwell need cover? Plus rounding up all Sunday's Chelsea news!
Hey all,
What an awful morning waking up a Blue, yuk.
Chelsea were in Premier League action against London rivals Arsenal in the Sunday midday kickoff. Obviously the mood is bleak. There is a real feeling of disconnect to this squad right now, I’m pretty much there myself now.
You can check out my watch along match review here and relive the nightmare. This was the first time I was posting this live and updating it every 15 minutes, something I will look to do more often now.
Next up, head to Sunday’s general Chelsea news report here where I have covered all the quotes, post-match interviews, transfer news, and anything else going on in the world of Chelsea right now. Some news in there also on some dressing room reactions after the game.
A couple of sourced stories now. One here on Chelsea’s interest in signing Brazilian wonderkid Endrick. The Blues are certainly well in this race, but is it a race that they can win this time?
There are contract situations bubbling up not just with the first team right now, but we also have some academy lads as well who could well end up leaving as free agents this summer. Both Charlie Webster and Jude Soonsup-Bell have uncertain futures now, and I have gathered up all the latest on this via my sources here.
Finally, the news of another serious injury to Ben Chilwell mirrors last season and once again we are without our main wingbacks on either flanks. It’s very frustrating and heartbreaking for Ben. But we need to speak about covering him, and I’ve gone through the options here.
That’s it for now!
Peace, Si.
