Morning,
This weekend didn’t really go to plan, did it? Chelsea were playing and they were supposed to take our minds off the turmoil with a big win at home to bottom half of the table Brentford. We ended up getting spanked and it depressed us all even more! The life of a Chelsea fan right now!
Thomas Tuchel seems to really be going through it right now as well in his personal life and has been for at least the last three months, but in my review of the Brentford game here, I couldn’t step away from the fact he got it wrong Saturday. Nobody is perfect…
Also, as a bonus for the game this week, we had the impressive Ryan Gunness contribute for us with a superb tactical analysis of our attacking play for the Brentford game, you can peep that here.
The protests happened on Saturday but it was as I feared, the divide created was already too wide and not all fans wanted to collectively pull together for #NoToRicketts this Saturday, at least in terms of a protest anyway. I’ve got some pretty strong views on that whole situation here.
The Ricketts bid seems to be gathering a bit more popularity, seemingly hand in hand with more news of their impressive wealth coming out… Make of that as you will. I’ve got a new piece on them making moves here.
I’ve been liaising with Paul Canoville’s team this week and I’ve got some very important and interesting quotes from his main advisor Gary Trowsdale here that you will certainly want/need to cast your eyes over.
Finally, Romelu Lukaku was sitting the bench again on Saturday and is largely having to make do as a spectator this season. Some fresh quotes and news on his future here to finish up for today.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a good Monday!
Peace, Si.
