Chelsea Newsletter: Monday 3rd October
Covering: reflections and analysis from the Crystal Palace vs. Chelsea game, a live watch-along report, and a general news roundup...
Good morning all…
Happy Monday, and best wishes for a good week!
Firstly, it was great to get our first victory of the Graham Potter era in a 2-1 win away at Crystal Palace on Saturday. Albeit not the best performance, three points is three points so I’m content today. You can catch my live watch-along from the game here.
Following the game I pieced together an article with reflections and analysis from Saturday’s win, in which I assembled the entire Si & Dan Talk Chelsea team to give you a range of opinions. Si checked in from sunny Cyprus, while Rob, Macca, and myself also gave our thoughts. The article, which I highly recommend, can be found here.
The third and final piece that I have put on the site this weekend, in Si’s absence, is a general news roundup that you guys may have become accustomed to on Sundays. I added some more thoughts on the Palace win, before providing a snippet of inside info on Conor Gallagher from Si. I then focussed on some transfer news on Nkunku, and took a look across the Premier League with a focus on potential transfer target Leandro Trossard, Frank Lampard’s Everton, and our next league opponent Wolves. That can be found here.
Let’s hope we can ride the momentum from Saturday’s win into a vital week for our season. Our match on Wednesday at home vs. AC Milan is really a must-win to help us progress from our Champions League group, while we take on manager-less Wolves on Saturday.
Up The Chels!
