Chelsea Newsletter - Monday 2nd May
Covering: Shocking Everton Loss Review, Takeover Latest, The Future Of Mount/James, The Profile Of Player That Tuchel LOVES, Marcos Alonso Leaving This Summer, Plus More...
Well, here we are arriving into May and that spells the season end for us football fans. Gutted that we won’t have any footy to watch for a while soon but at the same time, we as Chelsea on the whole collectively need this season to end ASAP and get ready for a reset under new owners and hopefully a summer of wise recruiting/transfer business.
Nobody knows what will happen, and even the ownership takeover situation is still rather up in the air right now in terms of who is going to get it. It sill looks like Todd Boehly’s group are the clear frontrunners and will get it, but it is not quite as simple as that yet. Here is the latest on that situation.
Next up, we were done over by Super Frankie Lampard on Sunday and to be honest, I wasn’t truly expecting much more than we got, and that to me is a major problem. I vented after our loss to Everton and I didn’t hold back. This here was the longest article I’ve ever written!
We had more to chat about other than just the game and the ownership stuff, despite the fact that this is really taking over everything right now. But I also spoke to a Cobham source this week and they told me exactly the type of profile of player that Tuchel likes and to be honest, this here probably says a lot about our current squad - I’ll let you guys make your minds up on that!
Marcos Alonso needs to head on this summer, and the next article here is a transfer rumour to rate linking him with a move to Barcelona. Get it done!
Let’s end of a positive - The futures’s of both Mason Mount and Reece James here, who are perhaps a couple of the few in this current squad who can say that they DO have the mentality to play and fight for Chelsea FC!
Anyways, it’s Bank Holiday Monday so those of you who don’t have to work, hope you have a crackin’ day and Chelsea haven’t spoiled it too much!
Peace, Si.
