It’s GO TIME! The final 4 days of the transfer window, and I want to let you all know what we have coming up this week on the site exclusively for our community here.
On Wednesday, we will have an exclusive article from Ben Jacobs reporting all the potentially late Chelsea transfer deals and what he expects on from deadline day. Then, on deadline day, we have Graeme Bailey joining us in an afternoon Podcast to speak about any final Chelsea movements, which I will get published right away (audio only for quickness). And of course, I will be reporting all my latest sourced stuff as and when it comes in on the Live Blog/in articles, and we have have Macca and Rob Pratley feeding their info out to me to relay to you guys as it happens!
Anyways, before all that, we have a game to review, and we even have a game to watch this week on Tuesday night away to Southampton. First of all, here are my reactions from the Leicester win on Saturday, as well as my match ratings. The week always starts better after a Chelsea win!
Let’s get into the transfer stuff. Again, especially this week, things can change SO fast so these articles might not be totally up to date (and this is why I run the live blog every day for the very latest updated stuff). On that note, I even ran one yesterday, so check that first for the very latest here. A big exclusive on Wilf Zaha in here that has since been confirmed by others.
Next up, a general article on potential arrivals here and what I expect to see this week/my latest sourced info on our targets.

I don't know about the general opinion of the fanbase on this transfer window, for me this is a 10/10 even if we don't get anyone else after fofana. The new board spent money , but they have done it wisely - a remarkable shift from our policy since emenalo left. If we look back at the marina era since 2016, 80 % of our signings flopped badly. Roman's money was wasted a lot. We still need a dm (nunes looks like a missed opportunity), a "competent" rwb cover and a massive overhaul of the frontline. But so far so good ! It's upto Tuchel to turn them into serial winners, if he does it properly he can match Jose Mourinho's legacy or maybe even surpass it.
