Chelsea Newsletter: Monday 27th March
Covering: Three sourced stories on Julian Nagelsmann/Graham Potter, Reece James, and Anthony Barry, Plus words on Noni Madueke, Levi Colwill, and Andrey Santos, and all the latest Chelsea news!
Morning all!
Got back from a lovely weekend in south Devon yesterday, near a little village called Modbury.
The Wife spoiled me for my birthday, and here are a couple of images of our trip for those of you interested!
I hope you all had a nice weekend and managed to catch some of the Chelsea related international games - there was some pretty good performances from some of our lads!
Let’s get into it!
Sticking with the internationals, I’ve highlighted three players to hone in on, three special players. Andrey Santos had his senior debut for Brazil, Noni Madueke came on late for England U21s and went absolutely nuts scoring and assisting, and Levi Colwill was super calm and classy at the back in the same game. More on all of that here.
Round up all the latest news from Sunday now here, with more international performances covered including a Ben Chilwell masterclass, and one to forget from Mykhailo Mudryk. I’ve also ranted about the pining for Thomas Tuchel in here…. Stop, please.
Three sourced stories to finish the day now.
One first on the injury that saw Reece James pull from the England squad this weekend. It’s concerning that James is continuing to suffer with injuries, some reoccurring, and I have the full info on that here.
Now as I said above, Tuchel got tongues wagging again this weekend as he replaces Julian Nagelsmann at Bayern Munich. And him going there is going to have knock-on stories that will come up, one of which is Tuchel wanting Anthony Barry to join him at Bayern. I’ve got a sourced story on that here.
Finally, many Chelsea fans have been calling for Nagelsmann to be our manager, but of course, we have Graham Potter. Any chance he is replaced with Nagelsmann? I’ve got a sourced report on that here.
That’s it for now - hope you all have a good Monday!
Peace, Si.
